How Blogs Benefit from Podcasts—Mix it Up Like Ms. Frizzle
Chapters of reading followed by worksheets are rarely used by our favorite teachers or professors. Despite the potentially boring subject (internal workings of a frog, anyone?), they found a way to make it interesting and interactive. You must do the same for your blog.
Don’t get us wrong, we love a good PSP to MSP article as much as the next Joe Schmo, but if you really want to capture our attention you’ll mix it up. Videos are great, if done correctly. But if you’re short on time and still want to change things around, podcasts are an excellent option. Podcasts are short (they can be long, but we don’t recommend making them too long) audio clips that make a clear and concise point that blog followers can check out.
